I see that Amazon is having a clearance sale on Standard-Def (not HD) Flip Mino Camcorders. This is a great opportunity for gifts. Flip Mino (Standard Definition) shoots 60 minutes of video and records to internal 2 GB on-board flash memory. It has 2x digital zoom. Comes with USB swing arm for easy charging and access to computers. Certain models come with plug-in AC adapter (so please verify that). The adapter is not necessary, but is nice. Normally the Flip cameras recharge over the USB, but the adapter makes it nice is a computer is not immediately available.
